Welcome to The Handmade Era! By visiting our site or making a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below. This ensures a transparent and respectful experience—for you, the artist, and the thoughtfully made creations that live here.

1. Handmade Nature of Products

All items in the shop are handmade—whether painted, sketched, knitted, or printed. As such, minor variations, textural quirks, and subtle imperfections are part of their individuality and should be embraced as evidence of thoughtful craftsmanship.

2. Purchases & Payments

All prices are in GBP and full payment is required at checkout. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders due to pricing errors, limited stock, or payment issues.

3. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are dispatched within the timeframe listed per product. We are not responsible for courier delays or customs processing. Please double-check your delivery address before submitting your order.

4. Returns & Refunds

We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse.
Custom and personalised items (including commissions, made-to-order pieces, or altered designs) are non-returnable and non-refundable.

If something arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. If a return is approved, the buyer is responsible for return postage unless otherwise agreed.

5. Intellectual Property

All products, designs, branding, photos, and content shared by The Handmade Era are original works and may not be copied, reproduced, or sold without written permission.

6. Custom Work & Commissions

We may accept custom or commissioned orders as our schedule allows. These must be prepaid and are non-refundable. We reserve the right to decline commissions that fall outside our creative direction.
